Sutter Health Central Processing Technician II in Burlingame, California

Position Overview:

The Central Processing Technician is responsible for decontamination, reprocessing, sterilization and storage of OR instrumentation; sterilizer monitoring, maintenance and documentation; Case cart assembly, reprocessing flexible scopes in Endoscopy, OR instrument turnover support and maintaining OR instrument & supply inventory. Retrieving soiled instrumentation, processing and returning it to throughout the hospital.



  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent education/experience required.

Licensures & Certifications:

  • Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) required.


  • One year of experience as level I technician at Mills Peninsula Medical Center required.
