Sutter Health Cardio/Ultrasound Tech I in Lakeport, California


Performs routine cardiac echo exams and specialized peripheral vascular ultrasonography procedures. – The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing all forms of Cardiac Stress Testing and Holter Monitor including scanning and EKGs. – Coordination of pharmacological stress tests, including an RN for the administration of medication – Plans, coordinates, schedules, and data processes procedures for M-Mode two dimensional, spectral and color flow Doppler evaluations, trans-esophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.


Completion of an accredited training course in cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound. Required

Diagnostic medical sonographer training. Required

Experience in a cardiac and/or vascular lab in an acute care facility as typically acquired in two years. Preferred

Basic Life Support Certification - HealthCare Provider - BLS-HCP Required

American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - ARDMS or eligible Preferred
