Sutter Health Emergency Tech Per Diem in Lakeport, California

Description

As a member of the health care team, the CNA/AC Tech assists in providing basic nursing care to patients on an assigned nursing unit according to each individualized patient care plan under direct supervision by the RN or LVN. The CNA/AC Tech will interact with various hospital personnel, patients, and families utilizing customer service philosophies while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

HS Diploma Required Or equivalent education/experience

Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA Preferred

Emergency Medical Technician - EMT EMT II or EMT P Preferred

Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required

Six months acute care experience as an EMT II or EMT P Preferred

Current experience as a CNA providing direct patient care. Preferred

In addition to the key accountabilities listed, employees working in this position are expected to accept and perform other duties as requested.
