Position Overview:

Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Performs accurate and concise documentation following department and JCAHO guidelines. Makes accurate assessments of patient’s progress daily and progresses treatment plan accordingly to age/related diagnosis. Completes documentation including verbal and written communication with physicians in a timely manner.

Job Description :

Education Requirement: Bachelors in Occupational Therapy or a closely related field of concentration.

Experience Requirement: 2 years in job offered or Occupational Therapist - related occupation.

Alternate Education and Experience Requirement: N/A

Specific Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelors in Occupational Therapy or a closely-related field of concentration plus 2 years in job offered or Occupational Therapist – related occupation.

Education or Experience must include:

  • Experience in planning, organizing, and conducting occupational therapy programs to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems.

  • Experience in documenting patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory Requirements. Based on the data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam, develops and updates the patients Plan of Care (POC).

  • Experience in Assessing and providing progresses treatment for patients per plan of care.

  • Valid California OT license or eligibility for the state licensure.

Pay Range is $0.00 to $0.00 / hour. Modesto Pay Range is $57.54 to $71.92 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
