Sutter Health Program Manager, Reimbursement in Sacramento, California

Position Overview:

Responsible for supporting System objectives that include, but are not limited to data management for the centralized data repository, System governmental reports, System Financial analysis in support of certain departments, preparing special purpose reports for internal and external departments, and developing and managing tools used by customers to determine System Financial Planning. Works with System Directors, Managers and Analysts to ensure appropriate financial analysis in affiliates' reimbursement and P&L reports. Identifies areas for risk improvement and data accuracy in collaboration with internal and external systems. Functions as an effective resource to forward the System Finance objectives.

• Proven excellence in data driven insights and recommendations as it relates to hospital chargemasters and market data with the upmost integrity is highly desired.

• Self-motivation and comfortable working and applying rigor and analyses with large datasets is a plus.

• Desired experience in SQL, Epic, Clarity, Tableau.

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

8 years of recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Ability to performed routine product reviews to identify issues and improvements.

Ability to process data for analysis (cleansing, modifying, and formatting) and mapping data across various systems.

Ability to compile periodic reports with metrics by product, detailing issue category, frequency, cause, preventive recommendations and trends.

Ability to provide QA support by finding data problems in any data repository including spreadsheets and spreadsheet formulas and SQL Server tables.

Knowledge of physician group, hospital, ambulatory, and health care administration within an integrated system based delivery organization.

Knowledgeable in the principles of data management and financial data analysis.

Ability to communicate complex financial and business information to many stakeholders.

Excel skills with a working knowledge of advanced table and graph/charting functions.

Organizational, analytical and planning skills.

Leadership, adult training and education skills.

Written, verbal and interpersonal and presentation skills.

Ability to handle shifting priorities and multiple projects independently and simultaneously.

Ability to meet deadlines, changing priorities and evening and weekend hours.

Pay Range is $52.01 to $78.03 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
