Sutter Health PAR Tech IV in Santa Clara, California
Under direct supervision of the PAR Management Supervisor and a dotted line basis to the Project Specialist/Manager, the PAR Tech is responsible for building, implementing & maintaining the PAR/Nodes throughout the region, as assigned. The PAR Tech will adhere to the build and maintenance schedule for PAR/Nodes & process QCNs (requests for add/delete/change) within the PAR/Nodes. The PAR Tech will assist the PAR Tech operations team, as required and assigned by management and will adhere to assigned installation /maintenance schedules. This role will measure for shelving, requisition & assemble shelving (as needed), work with Facility Planning and keep management updated on progress and concerns as well as maintain the bins and products carried within PAR/Nodes. This position travels extensively within PCR Ambulatory and is not limited to specific division or location . As this position has constant customer (clinical and non-clinical) and management interface, excellent communication skills are required.
REQUIRED: high school diploma or equivalent; twelve to eighteen (12-18) months experience in stock room and inventory situations; ability to read and write, understand and follow written and verbal directions; requires computer operation, particularly reading and sorting MS Excel; must be willing and able to travel as needed between PCR locations; clean DMV record; current class C driver's license
PREFERRED: medical and surgical product knowledge; experience in working with replacement stock inventories; experience in shelving assembly and assessment; experience in collaborative operations between supply chain and clinical departments.
